I started my glass journey in art college in Wrexham in 1998 where I gained an OND and a HND in architectural stained glass, i worked for several years making stained glass for the Cheshire stained glass company, this is where i honed my glass painting skills. Children then appeared in my life and so for many years work changed to fit around school and my glass work was put on hold until I returned to art college and completed a BA in flat glass, this is where I learned of all the new and exciting developments in the glass world, new kilns, new paint techniques, better glass for fusing, it really was like entering a glass sweet shop! Since then I have developed my skills in fused glass, experimenting and creating from my skills and imagination and after appearing on channel 5 glass blowing, I've learned hot to torchwork and melt glass in a whole new way! I love to combine all the different glass techniques in my work to make my work unique and I still get excited when opening the kiln and seeing my latest creations I hope you enjoy them too xoxo
